Methane Removal (MR) includes all methods which aim at the reduction of methane in the atmosphere. Methane is the 2nd most potent contributor to global warming after CO2. Methane content in the atmosphere has grown by 150% since pre-industrial times. Methane accounts for 30 of all historic and for 40% of all current global warming.
