Scientists’ Statement on Lowering Atmospheric Methane Concentrations
Scientists from the US, England, Japan, Canada, France and Germany have signed a letter which can be found here. In this letter they urge world leaders to take action on methane in both avoiding methane leaks e.g. in the oil&gas industry as well as reduce methane from the atmosphere. The list of signees includes, among others, authorities e.g. Michael Mann and David King, who add their prominence to the debate about methane reduction from the atmosphere.
